I had Brandon and his father and law from Tennessee today. We started the day looking for some waking redfish. We found them but they had lockjaw. We caught a handful of smaller reds and one nice 24". It was dead low so we went looking for some blackdrum. We headed into the creeks where we caught a few nice keepers up to 17". We also had a ton of redfish between 15"-17" . They were catching them on every cast for quite a while. After dozens of redfish we were on to catch some trout. By now it was afternoon and the winds were blowing at over 20 m.p.h. . The trout bite was so so. They did catch a really nice week fish with a few smaller trout and bluefish thrown in. They also snagged a huge whelk conch that we got a picture of and let her back in the water to continue to make baby conch. A windy day but we were still able to locate a ton of fish today.

11/28/2010 Arthur Lee's Family
Today I took out a regular clients daughter, sister and her husband, and his father. They had a great fishing day. It was a little chilly in the morning and the water was as calm as glass. As we pulled up to the first spot we saw some huge wakes that were made from some large redfish fleeing the scene. We started out blind casting to some holes and oyster bars and were rewarded with some smaller redfish. Down inside the creek we were urged to go further in by a great big waving tail. As we got within casting range I tossed Olivia's shrimp near the fish and fish on. She hooked up to a nice 26" redfish and landed it all by here self. What a great fight. We had not moved more than ten feet when we saw a nice push at the feet of two shore birds. We cast at the base of the oyster mound and hooked up to a 23" and he was brought to the boat swiftly. This continued for the next 3 hours. There were 4 people on board but we were only able to have one line in the water at a time because all of the redfish were sight fished. Arthur's dad caught a 31" and his sister caught a 28" as well as a few more keepers and short redfish. What a great day on the water.

Fun fishing 11/21/2010 shallow water redfish video
Went out today to do a little scouting for this next weeks trips. I planned on looking for some blackdrum but I found some redfish instead. I caught at least 30 redfish today. Most of them were sightfished and were caught on soft plastics and mudminnows. The largest was over 28". I did not take any pictures because I was by myself so I did not take the fish out of the water. I did take some video of a nice school of redfish swimming all around the boat. Look for the wakes. The water is still pretty dirty so they were visible only by the wakes. Yesterday was about as good as it gets. I would see redfish pushing and throw at the and come up with a flounder or a trout or a redfish. The fishing is on fire right now.
11/17/2010 with Acosta group
Had a fun group of guys from Acosta today. We had a group of 60 people for a little fishing and friendly betting. There were 20 guides for this group. We started off catching a bunch of redfish. After that we went looking for the trout and found a ton of those as well. With only 20 minutes left in the trip Steve said that he wanted to go try to catch a flounder so that he could get his North East slam. Well he caught one and he was the only one in his entire group to catch a redfish, trout, and flounder. Congrats. Looking forward to seeing you guys next year.
11-13-2010 trip with Steve and his dad and brother
Another great day of fishing. We targeted redfish and trout today. We also caught some blackdrum, bluefish, whiting, and flounder as well. We covered a few different spots today and we were rewarded with some great redfish. They brought home there limit for the dinner table. I had a great time out there.
October 29, 2010 w/ Ty and family
Had a trip again today with Ty and his wife and son. They are always great to go with. We started out at sunrise and had some fish on the boat within 2 minutes. We caught some redfish, trout and bluefish. We then went into the creeks to catch some keeper redfish. Now it was time to catch some biggg redfish. We landed two monsters. They both had been in some battles with a larger creature and had battle wounds to show for it.
