Today I had a two boat charter with John who is a regular client of mine. On my boat I had the pleasure of guiding Robert and Jim. What a day of fishing it continued to be. We were on the fish from the start. We had a few really nice flounder for back in the creeks. After the tide started to fall the redfish decided that the flood gates were open. We had a ton of redfish today. The final tally of keeper size redfish was somewhere around 12 or more. They had some really nice upper slot redfish as well. we were able to do some sight fishing for a lot of the redfish. It was a lower tide so I had them throwing in front of the wakes and they were rewarded nicely. I love when the redfish act like they have for this week. What another great day of fishing in Saint

Charter October 4th w/ Jason and Brian
I had Jason and Brian out for another full day of fishing. After yesterday it is going to be hard to follow that. Well we did. In the first few minutes Jason had his first redfish on top water. It is always a blast watching a redfish eat a top water lure. We then continued to absoutly slay the redfish we had somewhere around 20 keepers with a ton of missed fish. He had a bunch of double hook ups through the day. They probably caught over 50 redfish today. They also had some flounder and a ton of nice jacks. These are the days I live for and I was glad that I got to guide Jason and Brian on this day. See you guys next year.
Charter October 3 w/ Jason and Brian
Jason has been fishing a few times with me in the past. He lives in Wyoming so it is a little hike for him. They were rewarded with some amazing fishing. They booked me for a full day today and tomorrow. Well usually on a full day trip you have a lull in the fishing. Well not today. From the start of the first hole the fishing was on fire. We had a ton of nice redfish. We even had a fat little trout thrown in the mix. They easily caught double digit numbers of redfish today. After they were done catching the redfish we decided to try for a few more species. We found some awesome jacks that were feeding on the top of the water column. They both had a bunch of these as well. We also caught a really nice gag grouper. This was the first grouper I have caught in a few years since the cold winters that we have been having. It is great seeing them come back. Now I am ready for the snook population to come back. After today they are putting the pressure on me for tomorrow.
Charter October 2 2011 w/ Kevin and Brad
I had the pleasure of taking out Kevin again and he brought his brother Brad along this time. The fishing was getting back to normal after these extreme high tides. We had 6 keeper redfish on the boat in the first hour of the trip. We continued to catch a bunch of redfish. After they caught all the redfish they could handle we went looking for some other species. We had a ton of ladyfish and bluefish. They were getting double hook-ups as fast as they could cast out. Today was back to being the great fishery that north Florida has.

Redbone Tournament September 30 and October 1
I had the pleasure of guiding in the celebrity Redbone tournament again this year. It is a great fund raiser for the cystic fibrosis foundation. It was a really tough bite for the two days. We had some great fish but unfortunately most of them were under sized. I had Chris from Texas both days and on Friday I had and Glen on Saturday, both from the local area. We finished with three keeper trout and 1 keeper redfish. I know everybody had a great time and I look forward to guiding the event next year.
September 16 2011 Charter w/ Dave, Rick and Jose
I had my regular client Dave out today and he brought his buddy's Jose and Rick. The fishing was a little tough today. We had to try a few different spots to locate the fish. We were able to get some really nice redfish and flounder. Rick had the big fish of the day with an over sized 10 pounder. It put up an excellent fight. Jose made sure to bring home some flounder for dinner as well.
