Charter 3-19-2012 w/ John and his 2 sons
What another great day on the water. Today I had a regular client John and his 2 sons. One was home from Georgia Tech on spring break. I had to make sure to get him the biggest fish of the day. We had some great redfish today. He got a nice upperslot redfish. They also got some great size flounder. These flounder are coming in early this year so keep an eye out for them to get big fast. What a fun day of catching.
3-16-2012 Charter w/ Dave and his uncle
Today I had a regular client of mine and his uncle. It was a perfect day on the water. We must of saw 100's of redfish today. On one cast as Dave hooked up there was redfish in every direction. We saw 1 redfish with over a foot of his tail waving at us from a distance. We also got a bunch of other species thrown in the mix. They kept a few for dinner as well. These are the days that you hope for every day of the year. What a blast.

Charter 3-15-2012 w/ Charles
I took Charles and his brother out for a half day trip. This was his brothers first time ever fish. Well his first fish was in the first 10 minutes and in was a middle slot redfish. He was pumped. It was a great day of fishing. Charles wanted to try and catch some other species after we caught a ton of redfish. We were able to get some different kind of trout and a smaller sheephead and the first jack of the season. Spring is here.. After trying hard for some other species he decided to try for some more redfish and we continued to ware them it. It was a blast out there with perfect weather and great fishing.

Charter 3-13-2012 w/ Dick and Simon
Today I was able to take out my Uncle and nephew out for a little fun fishing. We were greated with perfect conditions for a change. My sister let my nephew play hookie today due to the fact that my uncle was in town. Well I bet he is glad that she did. He had the hot hand today with 3 upperslot redfish and 3 smaller redfish with a sheephead and a trout in the mix. My uncle got a few nice redfish as well with some other stuff in the mix as well. It was a blast.
Charter 3-9-2012 w/ Frank and his wife
Today I had Frank from Massachusetts . It was a fun and windy day. It was extremelly windy and a full moon so we had one of the lowest tides that I have seen in a few years. The creeks were bone dry. Well Frank was able to catch at least one of every species that is swimming in our water right now. We had redfish, trout, flounder, blackdrum, sheephead, whiting, bluefish, catfish, stingray and croakers. That was abusy day of catching. I know he had a great time which is all that I can ask for.
Charter 3-7-2012 w/ Robert
Today I had Robert and his friend out for a little fishing. It was another fun and windy day on the water. We had to really search for the fish today. We were able to get on some redfish, trout and a few really nice black drum. When they are in the double digits like this they are great fighters on light tackle. It was a blast guys and looking forward to getting you that double digit redfish next time.
Charter 3-6-2011 w/ Dusty and his father in law
Man it was a fun day of fishing. I had a repeat client Dusty who was in town for a little while. He was supposed to go offshore for some wahoo but with 30+ m.p.h. winds that was not an option.I had the pressure on to try and find something that would pull like a wahoo. Not quite but we did find a bunch of upper slot redfish and some nice sheephead and trout as well. They didn't want to many pictures so we got one at the dock. All in all a great day in gale force winds.

Charter 3-1-2012 w/ Pat and Jeff
Today I had Jeff and his wife Pat out for a half day trip. Well it was another windy day We had 1 day of light winds and they are back. Jeff had not fished in 25 years. His wife was just out for the beautiful day which was a little colder than she had expected. Within a few cast we had a redfish screaming drag. Unfortunately the line got a little slack and the fish spit the hook. Well it wasn't long until Jeff had another redfish on and it was a good one. We handled it with ease and had his first redfish on the boat. We caught a few smaller ones so we moved on to look for some bigger redfish. We found them right off the bat. He had there limit in 30 minutes or so and he was as happy as could be. We decided to go look for a few other species but the only thing else that we found were some more redfish. That is a problem that I can take. All in all it was a great day for how windy it was. I hope that they caught the fishing bug and I look forward to seeing them again next year.
Charter 2-29-2012 w/ Terry and his son
Today I had out Terry and his son. Terry is the host of the "Southern Sportsman" where I do my weekly fishing report. His son was in town and has never caught a redfish. Well redfish was what we were looking for and we found them. We had somewhere around 14 keeper redfish by the time we were done. It was a great bite and a few were in the upper slot range. All of the fish today were catch and release so the fish were happy with us today. If you want to hear Terry's show with my weekly fishing report tune in every Saturday and Sunday at 9 a.m. to http://www.wnzf.com/page.php?page_id=80
