Some great flyfishing in Saint Augustine in November
The fishing has been great this fall. The water is getting colder and the fish are schooling up . We have been sight fishing some really nice redfish on fly for the last few weeks. Only look for the fishing to improve as the water gets clearer the colder it gets. I am learning to love fishing these Saint Augustine winters.

Charter 07-29-2012 w/ Arthur and family
The record is stuck on repeat. The redfishing is as hot as the weather. There are a ton of good size redfish that are willing to play. The cooler water temps have really got the fish fired up this last week. It is definitely a blast out the right now.
Charter 07-28-2012 w/ Robert and David
What another amazing day of fishing. We had double digit keeper redfsih today with a ton of smaller redfish and other species in the mix. We even had a big lady fish join the party. It was just one of those days where everything was working out.
Charter 07-27-2012 w/ Alex
We had a great day out on the water today. We caught a ton of redfsih and some really big trout for this time of the year. We had redfish in 5" of water just crushing the bait. This is about as fun as it gets.

Some May Charters combined
Wow, May came and went and got away from me. We had a great month of fishing. We had 6 trout 25" or better . The redfish action was going like it should this time of year. We had plenty of double digit catch days throughout the month. The cobia fishing is all done and it is almost time for the tarpon and sharks to show up on our local beaches. The flounder run is starting to gear up and this is a great time to get that 6-8 pounder. The trout bite continues to be decent with the big fish still taking a topwater in the beginning parts of the day. Keep an eye out for the start of the bull redfish run heating up off our beaches and at our inlets as well. I will get back on par for the weekly post for the rest of the summer.

charter 04-14-2012 w/ Chris and his mom and daughter
Today I had Chris and his mom and his daughter Diana out for a half day trip. Well we had a front move in and is was super windy. There were also 3 inshore fishing tournament going on today as well. I know that I need to get out of the wind and away from all of the boats to get on some fish today. Well the first spot was a winner. We were able to put some great fish on the boat. We has a really nice trout for the first fish of the day and followed it up with a nice pulling redfish after that. Diana had some huge hits and drag screaming runs but unfortunately the fish kept swimming at the boat and she was unable to keep up with them and they spit the hook. Well it was time to get her on some fish so we moved to another spot. She got a nice trout and a redfish to go along with it. By now the wind was howling. I really wanted to get her a north east slam so we concentrated on getting her a flounder. With a little time to spare she hooked up with a flounder and was able to get her first slam. What a great feeling. Thanks guys.
Charter 04-13-2012 w/ Dean and his crew
Dean is a good luck machine. He has been with me a few times over the years. He started the day by reminding me how well we did the last time that they went out. Great, now the pressure is on. I sent out a message to my redfish friends to make sure that they ate and they did. I think we had somewhere around 12-15 keeper redfish with a bunch of flounder and trout as well. It was non stop action all day. It was some great redfishing again as always. Keep bringing me that luck.
